I can't believe it's been so long since I updated this! I have been so busy, went to Canada for a week, my sister-in-in law Terri visited, went to Krystle's bridal shower and school has been very very busy. I am really ready for summer break.
Today is Sunday and I am hoping to have a relaxing day before another busy week! Yesterday was a very frustrating day. Among other things, I spent all day long at PetSmart trying to get 4 dogs adopted, and none of them did. I always hate this, I feel badly taking them back to the shelter. They are all such sweet dogs. It totally sucks. Then when Jillian (another volunteer) and I took them back, this van pulled into the shelter and basically a man dragged his wife out and we watched this violent domestic dispute! It was so crazy. So we called the police but they left before they got there. So as sucky a day as I had I feel lucky not to be in that kind of a situation.
Anyway, today is another beautiful day, love the weather in Texas right now, so I am going to walk my baby Boomer (haha Baby Boomer I love saying that) and take him to some parks with my hubby.

BOOMER
Here is a picture of our new dog Boomer! He is a Border Collie mix we think. Maybe around 2 years old. He is such a sweetie! We got him from the Brazos Animal shelter of course.
After fostering other dogs we were really ready for our own. We have been wanting to get one pretty much since we got married. He is a very good boy and learning lots of tricks!
Permanent Resident!
Today Rob and I had our immigration interview. Basically we had to prove that we are really married and I am not just trying to get a green card! We were told to gather tons and tons of personal documents and evidence of our relationship so we took forever to organize all our pictures and stuff. We had heard horror stories of how intense it is, but when we got there we were in and out in ten minutes! It was a good surprise. So everything was ok and now I'm a permanent resident. Yay! Plus now all our awesome memories are all organized plus I organized all my other pics from the last 3 years too :)

New Blog
My friend Krystle set up this blog for me so I can keep my friends and family who are far away updated on life for me and Rob in Texas. Krystle is a great friend I met at the Animal Shelter (she is the Community Enhancement person there). We have a lot of fun! Also we work out together. It is great to have a buddy to work out with!
Me and Krystle! Our favorite class is Zumba, which is tonight!
